We’re well into the month of February. Some of our flowers & trees have started to bloom due to the record high temperatures we experienced in our “false spring” last week, and we’re expecting freezing temperatures again in the next few days. Fortunately, March (and real spring) is just around the corner. I have spoken to several people who are considering making a move this year and many of them plan to take action in March.

Days on Market have Decreased

 

In January, the median days on market for sold properties here in Jackson was 27, down from 34 in December. This decrease in days on market indicates that buyers are acting more quickly to purchase home they perceive to be a good fit for them. Number of Properties Sold has Decreased

 

In January, there were 17 closed home sales in Jackson, less than half the number that closed in December.
